In 2023, Brian made the decision to transition from coaching staff to board staff, and joined the CAHA Board of Directors were he was elected Vice President.

He is committed to growing the game for kids in central Ohio and making hockey more accessible for all, as he wished those opportunities existed when he was a kid.

Sarah Miller

Secretary

Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Sarah holds an undergraduate nursing degree with a Spanish minor from SDSU and a graduate nursing degree from UCLA. She moved to the area in 2012 with her husband Chad, their three-month-old son, and two dogs. As she and her family navigated their growing family needs during and post-Covid, Sarah has temporarily retired as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is currently the CEO of the Miller household.

Sarah’s hockey journey began when her oldest son expressed interest in the sport, and now all three of her boys play. While she excels in off-ice administrative tasks, skating isn’t her strong suit. Sarah loves playing tennis with friends, volunteering, and participating in various community service projects. She loves connecting people and in addition to holding the Secretary position; leads the CAHA Community Engagement Committee. Sarah enjoys traveling, albeit admits she could use a few fewer trips to Pittsburgh and Michigan in recent years (just kidding), and she misses the beach!

Amanda has been a dedicated member of the youth hockey board for six years, currently serving as Executive Administrator and Tournament/Travel Coordinator. She has also held roles as Mites Coordinator, House Coordinator, and Select Coordinator, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the needs of players and families.

Her hockey journey began when her son Brayden attended a game after her workplace gave away free tickets. He enjoyed it so much that he wanted to try the sport, and Amanda’s involvement grew from there.

Amanda lives in Lewis Center with her husband Brian and three sons: Brayden (2010), Blake (2012), and Bennett (2018). Outside of hockey, Amanda works as an Emergency Department Nurse, and when she’s not at the rink or coordinating tournaments, she enjoys cruising the open ocean.
