Little Capitals Select
Our "Little Capitals" are made up of 8U hockey players that aspire to be Capitals. This program will focus on introducing families and athletes to our program, developing young athletes on and off the ice, as well as participating in 4-6 half ice tournaments throughout the year.
Designed to be a supplement to the BJHL, the Little Capitals tournaments and games will take place during "off times" allowing for our athletes to participate in both programs.
2025 - 2026 Season
- Any 2017 and 2018 birth-year athlete may tryout for our Little Capitals. We aim to have
- TWO 2017 teams that will be made up of 10 skaters and 1 goalie
- ONE 2018 teams that will be made up of 10 skaters and 1 goalie
- Our teams will practice as ice becomes available to them throughout the season
- Our teams will have access to Capitals Skills Coaches including Hammer Hockey, 614Goaltending, and Althen Hockey Development
- Estimated Cost $1,000 includes ice time, tournament fees, coaching fees.

2025-2026 Little Capitals
The Little Capitals program is designed to be a supplemental program to the BJHL for our young athletes interested in becoming Capitals!
We look forward to having you and anticipate another great year of Columbus Capitals Hockey.
Registration is $50 and will stay open until May 15th.
Tryout Dates/Times
All tryouts will be at Chiller North - Parents will be notified as to which session each night their child is assigned to approximately 72 hours prior to tryouts.
